Pinterest API & Data Use

Purpose of the integration

Amazong Traffic Engine is an internal content-marketing tool used by DeosArt to prepare and publish original Amazong content to DeosArt’s own authenticated Pinterest business account. It is not a general-purpose Pinterest client and does not offer access to other Pinners’ accounts.

What the app can do

• Generate local draft Pin titles, descriptions and original creative based on content already published on Amazong.
• Display the authorized account’s Boards live when the administrator asks for them.
• Publish a specific Pin to a selected Board after explicit administrator approval.
• Use local UTM parameters and Amazong site events to measure visits and affiliate CTA performance. v5.8.1 does not currently read Pinterest Pin analytics through the API.

Explicit approval model

Automatic product publishing on Amazong may create draft suggestions only. It does not automatically take a Pinterest publishing action. A Pin is eligible for scheduled API publishing only after an authorized administrator explicitly selects/approves that specific Pin. A manual “Publish now” action is also a specific administrator action for that Pin.

Account access

The app uses Pinterest-supported developer authorization/access tokens for the authorized account. We do not request or collect Pinterest passwords, session cookies or unrelated account credentials. The administrator can remove the configured access token and can revoke Pinterest access through Pinterest’s own account/application controls.

Data handling

The integration does not sell or share Pinterest API information with advertising networks or data brokers. It does not combine one Pinner’s Pinterest account information with another Pinner’s information. It does not use Pinterest Materials to train, fine-tune or improve AI/ML models. Board information requested from the API is intended for live administrator selection rather than creation of a persistent Pinterest-content database. Pinterest Board IDs returned by the API are not persisted; an approved Pin’s locally chosen Board name is resolved live immediately before publishing.

Publishing safeguards

Amazong maintains local duplicate checks, human approval state and publishing limits to reduce accidental repetitive publishing. These safeguards do not attempt to discover, test or evade Pinterest rate limits or enforcement systems.

Relationship with Pinterest

Pinterest is an independent third-party platform. Amazong/DeosArt is responsible for its app and content. Use of the Pinterest API is subject to Pinterest’s developer terms, guidelines and technical documentation. Amazong is not endorsed by Pinterest.
