1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Amazong and DeosArt handle information when you visit amazong.eu, follow affiliate links, contact us, or when an authorized DeosArt administrator uses the Amazong Traffic Engine integration with Pinterest.

2. Information processed on the public website

The public site does not create shopper accounts and does not process product payments. Depending on your consent and browser settings, we may process page visits, referral source, device/browser information, country-level location supplied by hosting/CDN infrastructure, search terms entered on Amazong, and interactions such as outbound affiliate-link clicks. We do not intentionally store visitor IP addresses in the Amazong application database.

3. Server and security logs

Our hosting provider may process standard technical logs, including IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps and security events. These logs are used for security, reliability, fraud prevention and troubleshooting and are subject to the hosting provider’s retention controls.

4. Analytics and optional measurement

Where enabled, Google Analytics and the Pinterest Tag are treated as optional analytics/measurement technologies. The Amazong consent layer is designed to load optional analytics only after a visitor chooses to allow them where consent is required. You can change your choice using “Cookie settings” in the site footer.

5. Affiliate links and retailer websites

Some outbound links contain affiliate or campaign identifiers. If you follow one, the destination retailer and affiliate-platform providers may receive referral parameters and process information under their own privacy notices. Amazong does not control those third-party websites.

6. Pinterest API integration

The Amazong Traffic Engine is a content-management tool for DeosArt’s own authenticated Pinterest business account. In v5.8.1 it reads the authenticated account’s Board list when requested by the administrator and may create a Pin only after the administrator has explicitly selected or approved that specific Pin for publication. It does not currently use the Pinterest API to read other Pins or Pin analytics; Amazong performance reporting is based on its own UTM/site events. Automatically generated Pin ideas remain local drafts until that approval occurs.

The integration does not ask for or collect a Pinterest password, browser session cookie or other Pinterest login credential. It does not access other Pinners’ Pins or Boards for research, profiling or resale. Pinterest access is performed only through Pinterest-supported developer authentication/access-token mechanisms.

We do not sell Pinterest API information, combine it with other users’ Pinterest account information, or use Pinterest API information to train, fine-tune or improve an AI/ML model. Board lists requested from Pinterest are displayed live for the authorized administrator and are not used as a durable Pinterest-data database. Amazong does not persist the Pinterest Board IDs returned by the Board-list API; immediately before an approved Pin is published, it resolves the administrator-chosen local Board name against the authorized account live and uses the returned ID only for that API request. Local Amazong records may retain the administrator’s own draft content, approval state, chosen Board name, destination URL and publishing audit timestamps because those are created or explicitly entered within Amazong rather than retained as a Pinterest API response cache.

7. Access tokens and secrets

Developer credentials and access tokens are restricted to authorized administrators, stored server-side using the application’s encrypted settings mechanism where applicable, and are not intentionally exposed in public pages, client-side source code or logs. An administrator can remove a configured token from the Pinterest Engine.

8. Legal bases and choices

Depending on the processing activity and applicable law, we rely on consent for optional cookies/measurement, legitimate interests for security and basic first-party service operation, and the administrator’s requested service for the private publishing integration. You may withdraw optional analytics consent at any time through Cookie settings.

9. Retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, legal/accounting obligations, security, or troubleshooting. Optional browser consent preferences remain on your device until cleared or changed. Pinterest API responses are not intended to be retained as a general-purpose Pinterest-content database.

10. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal data, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. Requests can be sent to hello@amazong.eu.

11. Children

Amazong and the Traffic Engine are not directed to children under 13, and the Pinterest developer integration is not designed for children.

12. Changes

We may update this policy when the website, integrations or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
